Meagan Good was born Panorama City, Los Angeles in the 8th of August, 1981. Her mother Tyra Wardlow Doyle worked as her manager while she was in her teens. She was raised with her three brothers at home in Canyon Country in California and began acting in the age of four. She started her acting career as an extra in television programs such as Doogie Howser Amen, M.D. and Doogie Howser Amen. When she was thirteen, her debut role in a feature film was filmed. In 1997, she gained attention for her character in Eve's Bayou as Cisely Batiste, a troubled teenage girl. The film earned her the first N.A.A.C.P. nomination for this film. Image Award Nomination.
