Dolly Parton escaped the struggles in her early life thanks to her inventive and innovative imagination. Before she learned to read and write she was making up her own songs. After getting her first guitar at the age of eight, she started performing on local radio stations from Knoxville, Tennessee. The same year, Gold Band Records was an independent label. While still in highschool She made her mark local, but longed for having a bigger stage. When she was graduating in 1964 she moved to Nashville. Dumb Blonde (1967) and Something Fishy (1968) were her first two charting albums for Monument Records. The syndicated television show of Porter Wagoner required a new singer at around this time. Parton took the job in 1966. She then she joined RCA Records in 1968, and then the Grand Ole Opry was founded in 1969. Parton left the show however, in 1974 due to her solo albums such as Joshua Coat Of Many Colors and Jolene outsold their collaborations. Parton wrote "I I Will Never Forget Y...
